Introduction

The 2010 Folsom Street Fair^tm Poster Competition, now in its sixth year, hopes to encourge graphic artists to share their vision of what the Folsom Street Fair means to them through the creation of alternative fair posters.

Prizes

Up to ten finalists will vie for prizes of $400.00, $200.00 and $100.00 for first, second and third place. In addition a "Peoples' Choice" award of $100.00 will be given to the finalist receiving the most votes cast by viewers on this web site and at the 2010 Folsom Street Fair^tm. Prize money may optionally be donated to the charity of the winner's choice in their name. Finalists' artwork will be viewable by hundreds of thousands of people either through this web site or via a public gallery which will be setup at the 2010 Folsom Street Fair^tm.

• May 15, 2010 - Competition begins, registration opens
• September 5, 2010 - Deadline for receiving all artwork from registered entrants
• September 21, 2010 - Finalists selected
• September 27, 2010 - Finalists gallery at the Folsom Street Fair
• October 26, 2010 - Winners announced
• November 17, 2010 - Prizes awarded
